Little Rock Chiropractor: Dr. Edward Jones

“I was always Climbing Trees, Walls, anything I could find!”

Trees along a trailWhen I was a kid, I was always climbing trees, walls, anything I could find! While I could usually climb up a tree successfully, coming down was sometimes a different story! After a few spills, and lots of bumps and bruises, my parents took me to a chiropractor, and many of my childhood aches and pains disappeared.

I began doing gymnastics when I was about 12. It was then I really became a believer in chiropractic care. Whenever I would crash and burn, I saw my chiropractor, and the next day I was ready to go again!

Helping People Feel Better

I started college at Arizona State University in Tempe as business major, knowing that someday I wanted to own my own business. I considered many choices while doing my undergraduate work. I needed a way to earn enough money to keep myself in school, and decided to become a licensed massage therapist. It was a way to earn decent money and continue my studies.

I realized that helping people feel better was something I really enjoyed, and that is an important part of me. Whatever profession I chose, I wanted to look forward to going to work every day. Being a massage therapist made me realize that there was a way to help people feel good in a natural way, and after investigation, I knew chiropractic was the career I wanted.

Chiropractic College

I transferred to Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City where I earned my B.S. in human biology and my doctorate in chiropractic. I studied courses including biochemistry, anatomy and human physiology, nutrition, x-ray and diagnoses, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care. I gained clinical experience at the Cleveland College Public Clinic.

Perfect Alignment Chiropractic

After earning my degree, I moved to Denver, Colorado. While working with chiropractors in Denver, I met my wife Dena. We were married in June 2002 and moved back to Little Rock to open Perfect Alignment Chiropractic (PAC). Dena graduated from California State University in Long Beach, California with a degree in business administration, and she uses her business expertise to manage our office. We are parents to Brian, our very active 17 year old, Emily, our beautiful 15 year old and our youngest, Danielle who is 12. All are “regulars” at PAC, and they enjoy helping around the office and visiting with our patients.

A Little About Me

My personal hobbies include reading science fiction books, hunting, and spending time with my family.

I am active in my church and have taught kids from age 3 to 18. I enjoy my work with the Scouts, and currently serve in the youth program. I have always been active in both work and leisure activities. As a family, we try to observe good nutrition and seek whole food nutrition. We strive to take the most natural approach to health care, which includes regular chiropractic adjustments for the entire family — even our extended family. While prescription and over-the-counter medication can play a role, they are not our first approach to health management. If you are interested in learning more about my views on supplements, as well as vaccinations, please ask!

Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Give our office a call or email me with the link below so we can help you take your first step towards better health.
